Change My Destiny (“we”) operates changemydestiny.in. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. It is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
To prepare your reading: your full name and date of birth. If you buy a name correction, we also collect the additional details you enter in the form — such as spelling preferences, mother tongue, and what you'd like guidance on.
To deliver and support your order: your phone number and email address, collected by our payment provider during checkout.
Automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referral source, through standard analytics.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details at any point. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems.
Why we collect it
- To generate and deliver your report or name correction
- To send your report link and PDF by email and WhatsApp
- To let you retrieve your past orders
- To answer support requests
- To process refunds where applicable
- To understand which pages work and improve the site
We use your data for these purposes only.
Sensitive data
We do not collect health records, financial records, biometric data, caste, religion or sexual orientation. Please do not send us any of this.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the service:

Every provider is bound to use your data only for the service they perform for us.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with advertisers.
We may disclose data if required by law or a valid order from an authority.
How long we keep it
Your order and report are stored so you can access them again whenever you want. Analytics data is retained for 24 months. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove it within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep transaction records.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your data
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time
- Complain if you believe we've mishandled your data
Write to help@changemydestiny.in with the subject “Data request”, from the email or phone number used at purchase. We respond within 30 days, free of charge.
Marketing messages
We message you about your order regardless, because you need those messages. Promotional messages are sent only if you opt in, and every one carries a way to stop them. Reply STOP on WhatsApp or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Children
This service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to help@changemydestiny.in and we will delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our database, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will notify you and the Data Protection Board promptly in the event of a breach affecting you.
